SW branch Seattle Public Library book talk and signing Feb. 14th

Betsy Bell will talk about Open Borders on Thursday, Feb. 14th at 6 p.m. A brief history of the Cold War, Seattle’s response to the arrival of the first nuclear submarine in Puget Sound, and the importance of Sister Cities, a program started by Dwight Eisenhawer at the end of WWII. He believed that by getting to know each other–people to people–around the world, we would lessen the likelihood of military confrontation. Join us.
